Christmas 1991

Ho!  Ho!  Ho!  Here we go

With no cassettes you know

Do you get it Joe?

Nineteen ninety one was the year

That came in with big cheer

Jimmy Buffett was before

The Tampa super bowl galore

March was a month

We went on a hunch

To bring in some cash

So Kim Lewis could crash

We don’t want a goat

So we bought a boat

Migration is her name

And she is used just the same

We bagged our new jeep

Cause it was a heap

Dad gave us a yacht

That we are happy we got

The car is 19 feet long

With a history so strong

It was grandmothers when first bought

Cause it was the pick of the lot

In June there was fog

Do you remember the log

Cause “Corona” the hog

Still lays a big log

Our house warming party was late

People said it was great

Derek ended it in the lawn

With the technicolor yawn

Key West was the place

That we would both face

To celebrate our first year

And toast our second year

So we went on our way

To see Put-in-Bay

Lenz winery was the place

All my old roommates got shit faced

Off to Virginia we drove

To see Hickory Cove

My cousin didn’t falter

As he stood at the altar

Guavaween was cute

Did you know guava’s a fruit

Richard Gonzmart was the one

Who had treats for everyone

We watched movies of the Duke

So Thanksgiving was a hoot

Mom is always the lucky one

Too cook while we have fun

Now I must fear

There is no beer

But have no tears

There is always next year
