Christmas 97
Ho Ho Ho it's been a year
We thought we were in the clear
We savored the sensation
And we planned a vacation
Our two year old was a pip
It ended up just being a trip
Jeff has never been brighter than the rest
So he and his swim team swam around the island of
Key West
38 traveled, 17 swam the 12 1/2 miles
When they finished they were all smiles
For Halloween Zac dressed as Superman
If asked to fly he would say I can
While that night it rained
Jeff was stuck over Tampa in a plane
As everyone knows we like Jimmy Buffett a lot
This year Zac joined us in the parking lot
Mom and Dad Copper were such sports
With all the parrotheads they may have felt out of
sorts
Last year we reported we wanted to live on the Bay
Thank God Hurricane Josephine didn't ruin our day
We could by a house that was taller
Instead we move to a small hill one block off the
water
At Tim and Lori's wedding we learned Zac could
prance
As he was the first one to dance
On the airplane Zac was giddy
The wedding was in Ocean City
This year Jeff said what the Hey
And started his MBA
Since he slept through his classes as undergrad
He doesn't want to be a hypocrite now that he is a
dad
Leadership Tampa classes are now done
Which Jeff will miss because they were so much fun
The experience struck an accord
The Crisis Center elected him Chairman of the Board
This year Zac, Jeff and the dogs give thanks
To the most important one in our ranks
Leadership Tampa, MBA, Masters Swim Team, Work, the
new house,
birthday parties, Busch Gardens, Baths, and it all
Brenda takes care of it all
She seems to do it all with a sixth sense
And can only use a Zone Defense
Even with our busy days
Brenda is never in a haze
In our poem this year we must share
Disney is more than fare
Although you will hear us sing
When we no longer have to watch the Lion King
Our lives without friends
Would seem to have ends
While we may not have been in touch
You all mean very much
This Christmas our family is complete
We could not imagine Christmas with out the peek
Please keep in touch
We miss you so much
Merry Christmas from the Coppers
Jeff, Brenda, Zachary, Caymus, & Corona
